NFT Smart Contract Developer

Impact Theory is an ambitious LA-based digital studio, committed to telling stories of empowerment and human potential. We currently produce a wide variety of scripted, unscripted, and digital content for OTT streamers, YouTube, Spotify, WEBTOON, NFTs, and our own internal online learning platform.

Impact Theory’s secret weapon is community building. As we embark on our newest venture into Blockchain gaming and the NFT space, we are going to be investing heavily into creating an unparalleled experience. To that end, we are seeking an experienced Back-End Developer who is passionate about, and educated in, this emerging space to help us build something truly unique.

Role And Responsibilities:

• Create cutting-edge smart contracts for NFTs
• Work with Dev team to add Web3 functionality to multiple sites and applications
• Beef up current MVP NFT Marketplace and turn it into best-in-class
• Stay on the bleeding edge of the latest NFT/Blockchain trends, best practices and technologies
• Collaborate with broader team to deliver on company goals
• Provide constructive feedback

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Ninja-level skills with Ethereum smart contracts
• Web3 integration
• Experience in generative art a huge bonus
• Extensive experience with with ERC-721 and ERC-1155 standards
• Extensive experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database - TypeORM for ORM
• 5+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Blockchain technology - specifically Ethereum and Solidity
• Deep experience with various coding languages - Python is a bonus
• Can be located anywhere but must be available to overlap the Pacific time zone for 3-4 hours within the 7am-9pm PST window
• This is a 2-3 month full-time position with the possibility for extensions
