Senior Backend Engineer

Ideamarket aims to replace corporate media with markets as the arbiter of public credibility.

To help achieve this, Ideamarket offers creators a new income stream based on trust, without dependence on ads or paywalls.

After our successful launch we are looking to expand our team with a Senior Backend Engineer who is interested in being a part in shaping the future of Ideamarket.

About the role:

• Build backend software which directly interacts with Ethereum and Layer 2 scaling solutions
• Extend the Ideamarket GraphQL APIs which provide on-chain data
• Create state-of-the-art serverless microservices and databases
• Ensure overall system stability, uptime, and performance

About you:

• You support the vision of Ideamarket and would like to be a part of its future
• You are able to work without much supervision
• You have an eye for detail and create high-quality and well-tested code
• You can coordinate with other employees in different timezones
• You are familiar with Ethereum and the cryptocurrency ecosystem in general

Required skills:

• In-depth technical knowledge of Ethereum and its internals
• AWS: Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Cognito, API Gateway, …
• Docker, Docker Compose
• Configuring and maintaining remote Linux servers
• Typescript, Javascript (Node), Web3

Bonus points:

• Experience building subgraphs (The Graph)
• Experience building smart contracts
