Blockchain and DeFi Director

Our client is one of the fastest growing Cryptocurrency Exchange in the world and they are looking for a high calibre Project Director who has experience working on Top Tier Blockchain or DeFi project, as CTO or project lead.

Role Overview:

• Hire and manage a 5-20 blockchain and DeFi development team.
• The blockchain department will be fully funded. The director will have freedom to select product development and innovation direction (with approval by Committee). Projects must have high impact for example (dex, synthetics, etc).
• The blockchain department will have the freedom to determine its own direction.
• Support DeFi partnerships process (strategy, technical due diligence, integration) and Dao (governance module, smartcontract features, front end).

Requirements:

• Macro Analysis - Must have a strong understanding of the direction of blockchain and DeFi macro environment. Which sectors or projects have the highest potential and why?
• DeFi mechanics - Must understand user needs and behaviours. Why some DeFi projects succeed (useful tool, APR, innovation and reputation, selling a big story, good marketing, good partnerships).
• Communication - must be expressive. Will often have to explain and defend vision and innovation roadmap.
• Coding - solidity, other blockchain languages.
