About the Senior Frontend Engineer role

We are looking for an experienced, design-obsessed, software engineer to help us build the next generation of the Greenwood Protocol. As a dedicated frontend hire, you will gain ownership over our existing suite of web products, as well as the ability to influence the creation, design, and execution of future products. You will be responsible for ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across borrowing interfaces, analytics pages, documentation portals and more.

Initial responsibilities

• Create a unified component library for use across all Greenwood products
• Rapidly implement UI elements from design mockups, with an eye toward performance, design, and accessibility
• Work closely with Smart Contract Engineers to connect UI elements to Greenwood Protocol contracts
• Implement and maintain UI tests
• Design wireframes, mockups, and other assets

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with React
• 3+ years of professional experience with interface design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe)
• Deep understanding of the architecture of modern client-side React applications
• Prior experience working with component libraries or design teams in user-facing applications
• A desire to keep up with modern best practices in web development

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science
• Experience with Solidity or Vyper
• Understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine
• Experience with SQL
