Senior Rust Engineer for Solana DEX

About GooseFX:

GooseFX is a leading Solana protocol encompassing all aspects of DeFi. We are looking to onboard a full stack developer who has several years of experience to help develop new features to our perpetual futures DEX. We’ve done over $350M in volume the last couple months on our DEX and are growing fast.

An ideal candidate will have experience with Rust as well as Solana knowlege and general knowledge of Derivatives, Orderbooks, AMMs, etc. We have raised $5M from leading firms such as Jump Trading, Coinshares, Animoca, etc. Read more here.

Major Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in a technical or quantitative field
• Minimum 3 years experience with Rust
• Minimum 1 year experience with Anchor framework
• Minimum 1 years experience in Typescript
• Experience with derivatives design, liquidations, margin/collaterals, market making etc.
• Programming fundamentals (in any of C++, C#, Java, or another OOP language)
• Understanding of Solana’s programming model and accounts model
• Have a general understanding overview of current DeFi landscape: DEXs, aggrgators, vAMMs, Hybrid orderbook models

• Love problem solving, and love seeing your products work; you do whatever it takes to do what’s needed (trading, coding, analyzing data, collaborating)
• Determined, ambitious yet humble, willing to work hard and learn on the way
• Like meritocracy and being judged by what you deliver
• Have an entrepreneurial mindset versus working 9-to-5 mentality; prepared to work non-standard working hours including weekends (since we are a high-growth startup operating in 24/7 crypto world)
• Like working in a remote environment with meetups around the globe
• Knowing front end is a plus
