Front-end Engineer

Job Overview

Genius is seeking a front-end Developer with years of experience building in Next JS and Tailwind, to lead beautiful, pixel perfect experiences for our end users. We are extremely pedantic, and want you to be too.

Job Description

1. Implement, and optimize user-centric interfaces for Genius’ cross-chain trading platform, focusing on seamless user experience and intuitive design. Builds must be pixel-perfect and 100% design accurate.
2. Collaborate with backend and smart contract teams to integrate frontend components with Genius’ proprietary Synchronous Liquid Matching engine and liquidity management system
3. Build modular, reusable, and performant components using Next JS and Tailwind (primary stack)
4. Implement responsive designs that adapt to various devices and screen sizes
5. Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with Genius’ brand and design guidelines in an obsessive and pedantic way.

1. Extremely hungry to take high ownership and put in dog work, grinding hours
2. Understand deeply the psychology on an on-chain trader and is passionate about mainstream adoption
3. Detail-oriented to an extreme degree

Core Competencies

1. Advanced proficiency with Next.js, Tailwind, Node.js & Postgres.
2. Extensive experience with building responsive, modular, and maintainable code
3. Experience with Fintech and DeFi UX.
4. Experience with frontend testing frameworks, such as Jest or Cypress, and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to ship product fast with quality
