Sr. Software Engineer

Gallop is a data infrastructure platform enabling data engineers, developers, and data scientists to rapidly launch NFT products and experiences. Gallop’s composable data aggregation, analytic, and insight APIs empower developers to expand the utility of NFTs by getting to market faster, enriching customer experiences, and increasing NFT asset performance. Customers building on top of Gallop include consumer social platforms, crypto wallets, lending protocols, and NFT minters.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• You’ll create and execute the Gallop technology roadmap
• You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the Gallop aggregators, infrastructure, and API
• You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining a data pipeline for Gallop data scientists
• You’ll oversee technical operations and assist Gallop team members

Skills:

• 5+ years as a software engineer
• 2+ years as a software development manager
• Excellent knowledge of modern web application development and data science workflows
• Excellent knowledge of object oriented programming languages, relational databases, Big Data integrations, and cloud computing platforms
• A strong interest in blockchain and web3 technologies
• Proven ability to execute CI/CD workflows, write and maintain Infrastructure as Code, apply test driven development, and prioritize features/backlogs/enhancements.
• Possess a customer centric mindset, as well as team management and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to work remotely with teams of various sizes in same/different time zones
• Excellent English communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation
