Sr Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing crypto trading team. This role will be a key contributor in designing and building our core technology stack that supports various trading strategies across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges and blockchains.

Key responsibilities include: developing & optimizing new trading strategies, writing smart contracts for new protocols, building exchange connectors, spinning up node infrastructure and monitoring/alerting systems.

Candidates should be self-starters that are comfortable independently owning projects from design to completion. This is a unique opportunity for intellectually curious individuals to deeply learn about the bleeding edge of crypto, DeFi and algorithmic trading in a very practical, hands-on manner. No one day will be the same and you will gain exposure to different parts of our tech stack.

Candidates should be comfortable working in multiple languages (or learning them quickly), including Go, Julia, Javascript, and C++, and testing at the unit, functional, and integration level.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor or master’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics)
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience building high-performance, mission critical applications
• Strong understanding of software development principles and CS fundamentals (object-oriented design, unit/integration/E2E testing, data structures, algorithms, etc)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including a solid foundation of statistics knowledge
• Experience with trading, blockchains and smart contracts is desirable, but not required
