Web3 Backend Engineer

Fleek is a Web3 venture production studio. Our lead product Fleek is an Open Web developer platform with everything you need to build sites and apps on the new web and the underlying protocols that power it (Internet Computer, Ethereum, IPFS, Filecoin, and more). From hosting, storage, gateways, domains, databases, and more, Fleek has everything you need to seamlessly build and manage Open Web sites & apps.

Besides Fleek, our team forms the Psychedelic collective which has also built Plug (over 100,000 users), Dank which provides cycle-based financial services on the IC, DAB a set of Internet Computer registries, and other key infrastructure pieces like Terabethia on the Internet Computer.

We are now building additional products on top of the Internet Computer and Ethereum, which is why we are looking to expand our team and continue to share the story behind Fleek and Psychedelic!

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Web3 Backend Engineer to help us build and maintain smart-contract based products and services on top of Ethereum, StarkNet, the Internet Computer and other decentralized protocols that might interact with each other. The ideal candidate has some familiarity with cloud/networking technologies like AWS/Lambda.

Responsibilities

• Help implement products and features built on bleeding edge technology
• Design, develop, test and deploy in a fast paced remote team environment
• Help with customer service, product scoping and architecting solutions as needed

Experience

• Professional experience designing, architecting, and implementing engineering solutions in production
• Professional experience with Rust, Solidity, or related languages in Web3 and smart contract contexts. (Cairo is a really nice to have!)
• Familiarity and experience with AWS / Lambda services
• Professional experience with git, code reviews, testing
• Bonuses: WASM, Peer to peer technologies, Blockchain, CRDT
