Web3 Rust Developer

About the Role

FABRIC is looking for a Smart Contract Engineer to be a core member of our engineering team. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the core team, research protocol design, develop smart contracts and maintain backend services that facilitate the growth of the protocol.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop protocol upgrades and new contracts
• Implement Solana programs and instructions with a focus on security, simplicity and ease of use
• Produce high quality, performant, and well-tested Rust/Solana code
• Build and maintain off-chain services necessary for protocol using DevOps tools
• Achieve comprehensive unit and integration test coverage
• Write specs & review PRs. Brainbattle with other devs

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years in software development with high level of proficiency with Rust
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tech and write secure, high quality code
• Passionate about the DeFi space - blockchain technology, existing protocol designs, game theory
• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• Experience with any blockchain at the protocol level
• Understanding of margin trading and derivatives products
• Familiarity with the Solana blockchain and building applications on Solana
