EquiTie is looking for a Blockchain Core Developer who would take care of designing, implementing, and supporting blockchain-based networks and their underlying architecture. The design of consensus protocols, monitor and optimise the infrastructure, determine how the network will interface with other services and ensure a secure and efficient environment for implementing decentralised applications.

Key responsibility areas would include researching, designing, developing, and testing blockchain technologies. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the tech team engaging with internal and external stakeholders to meet both short and long-term needs of our rapidly growing platforms.

What You Will Do/Your Mission:

• Researching, analysing and designing blockchain networks, consensus protocols and decentralised applications
• Planning security and compliance across the entire blockchain network and applying cryptographic mechanisms such as hash functions and digital signatures
• Developing, testing, monitoring and maintaining a blockchain network, with a focus on performance, distributed computing, consensus protocols, cryptography and other security measures
• Follow crypto investing trends and showcase creative and inspiring ideas to the team
• Liaise with other departments in drafting white papers for several blockchain projects
• Lead the technical support for the drop of our utility based NFT collections
• Developing, testing, monitoring and maintaining decentralised applications, smart contracts, back-end systems, client-side applications and any other components that make up the application stack
• Researching and evaluating new tools/technologies and integrating them into a blockchain network or its applications

What You Bring to the Team/Skills and Abilities:

• You are plugged into the blockchain, specifically the NFT world. You need to know what is happening, what is working and not working
• Strong interest or experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, Ethereum network, and DeFi
• Strong Knowledge in cryptocurrency wallets with embedded exchanges
• Extensive experience in back-end development, algorithms, and data structures
• Strong knowledge of cryptography and blockchain consensus protocols.
• Understanding of crypto wallets and their functionalities
• In-depth knowledge of best practices in blockchain management and data protection
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages, such as C++, Java, NodeJS and Python
• Solidity coding, full expertise of writing a full-stack smart contracts, including but not limited to ERC 20, ERC721 and ERC115
• Knowledge of derivatives and how they are priced, hedged, and traded
• Ability to work remotely, independently and collaboratively in a team
• Employing a wide range of soft skills, including communication, collaboration, problem-solving, multitasking and working in a team environment
