Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Solidity, React, Nodejs, SQL)

e^{i} Ventures is a premier venture studio with experienced founders, traders, software engineers and builders with deep cryptocurrency experience, looking to accelerate the growth of the decentralized finance space. We are building a team to work with our founders, who are software engineers building new startups in the cryptocurrency (decentralized finance) space.

Role and Responsibilities:

We are hiring a senior web3 full-stack engineer to work with founders in our incubation program.

You will be in charge of architecting the MVPs of products being built by founders in our program and taking them from 0 to 1. At any point of time, you will be working on 2-3 projects simultaneously. We expect you to have a deep desire to learn about new decentralized technology platforms (eg. polkadot, cosmos, algorand, solana) as needed for any project. You will work closely with our co-founders and will shape the future of our firm.

Full-time and remote. No preference in location. Additional compensation in terms of bonus and equity will be discussed on a per-candidate basis.

What you will do:

1. Write state-of-the-art smart contracts on Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot, Binance Smart Chain (roughly in that order) or any other chain we work on. Must have the ability to pick up on new smart contract platforms quickly and work with the bridges between chains.
2. Ensure that dapps are tested thoroughly via e2e tests
3. Contribute to other open-source projects that we integrate with
4. Work in close collaboration with several teams on product architecture and design

What you bring:

1. Senior-level React (or other front-end library) development experience. Familiarity with databases and full-stack frameworks.
2. Expertise in Solidity, EVM, and smart contract design (or equivalent experience in any other smart contract platform)
3. Strong desire to build decentralized and open source software
4. Passion for learning new technology and tackling novel technical problems
5. Excellent English communication skills

“Nice to have”:

1. A general knowledge of DeFi protocols. Have used several DeFi products (Uniswap, Compound, etc.)
2. Existing contributions to open-source software products
3. Higher degrees in Computer Science or equivalent
