JavaScript Engineer

Are you a JavaScript Engineer trying to break into DeFi? If so, we want you!

In this role you’ll:

• Work directly with 0xngmi, the founder of DefiLlama
• Help integrate new protocols
• Update current listed protocols
• Add new features/charts through changes on the frontend and backend
• Build stuff that you find interesting

At DefiLlama, everyone is highly independent and work is self-directed.

We don’t have any meetings and try to keep communication overhead to a minimum.

You get to decide what you work on, but you need to be self-motivated and willing to push yourself.

Key Responsibilites:

• Help implement and maintain UI features
• Write accurate and effective code
• Maintain and implement code to track new projects on different blockchains
• Work with databases and APIs
• Propose solutions and alternative points of view
• Work collaboratively with the team

Required Skills:

• Experience coding as a Backend Developer
• JavaScript/ES6
• Competent in at least one framework: Vue/React/Angular
• Good experience with writing JavaScript
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Excellent team working and communication skills
