Developer Relations Lead

Alongside CUDOS & Compute, we also built one of the largest automated cryptocurrency mining tools (Cudo Miner). Miner has lowered the barrier of entry for users new to cryptocurrency and provided tools to allow experienced users to manage large farms of rigs.

The Role:

As a Developer Relations Lead, you will help to grow the Cudos developer community. You will engage with developers and create compelling and authentic resources such as demos, code samples, documentation, how-to guides, and blog posts, while also participating in conferences, hackathons and other events as a Cudos evangelist.

What you’ll get to do:

• Build close relationships with developers across different geographies and experience levels, motivating developers to build on and foster the growth the Cudos blockchain network
• Build awareness of new Cudos products, tools, and resources that make the developer’s life easier
• Identify high potential developer communities, refine messaging to attract new developers, and highlight gaps in developer experience for the Cudos product team
• Continually update community of current events including startup competitions, hackathons, and events that Cudos is attending, participating in, or organizing
• Build a deep knowledge of the Cudos ecosystem consisting of the Cudos network, Cudo compute platform, and Cudos products to be able to articulate how they enable developers while incentivizing the development of new applications, developer toolings, and bridges and such
• Work with a technical writer(s) to create and maintain educational materials and resources for developers such as demos, code samples, documentation, how-to guides, and tutorials
• Participate in the blockchain ecosystem and community, building strong relationships with engineers, architects, product managers, and founders
• Stand up programs with ecosystem partners to efficiently scale awareness initiatives
• Define and own metrics and reporting of goals to measure and drive the success of our developer content and outreach efforts
• Create and expand the modern-day Cudos bug bounty program
• Advise internal stakeholders on how to interact with our community

What you’ll bring with you:

• 3-4+ years of experience in developer relations, developer education, with technical writing experience being a plus
• Working knowledge of developer tools like SDKs and APIs
• Experience in writing code samples, demos, or tutorials for JavaScript
• Experience of working within cross-functional teams (developer relations, product, marketing, operations, etc.)
• Experience working with tools such as Telegram, Google Suite, Asana, Zoom, and other data management / project management tools
• Be a self-starter with a ‘startup founder’ mentality, able to work independently and be nimble while also taking a leadership role and collaborative approach on tasks when it is called upon
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Have a solid understanding of industry trends and greater cryptocurrency market dynamics
• Be an innovative thinker. Do not be afraid to speak up when needed to make sure things are done right and done well
• Be a great relationship builder, especially with developers.
• Experience with managing and scaling developer community programs, and have worked with online and in-person developer communities in the past
• Work remotely on a flexible schedule but be able to put in a typical weekday while being able to work early and/or late as needed
• Thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment at a growing company
