Web3 Engineer

Cryptex is looking to expand our team with an S-tier Web3 engineer to enhance the functionality of our platform and the synthetic assets we create.

Cryptex is a decentralized minting platform that allows users to mint (borrow) total crypto market cap token, TCAP (Just like MakerDAO and DAI). Cryptex is built with Ethereum smart contracts and decentralized chainlink oracles, giving users access to novel synthetic assets.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of a state of the art decentralized minting platform
• Implement support for new L2’s, such as Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism
• Take initiative in improving the Cryptex platform to address pain points in users experiences
• Write Solidity smart contracts, identify bugs, write tests, review code and propose improvements to maintain the quality of the Cryptex code base
• Keep up to date with the latest protocol developments in DeFi
• Navigate a rapidly evolving environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of writing solidity smart contracts and working with the Ethereum blockchain.
• Strong experience in managing the full life cycle of smart contracts including design, testing, review, deployment and onchain interaction.
• Deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem and experience building a DeFi protocol.
• Thorough understanding of the Web3 stack

Nice to have

• Senior level experience (5+ years) in another programming language or stack.
• Cryptonative experience such as experience working with DAOs
• Worked with lending or minting protocols
• Experience participating in yield farming, liquidity provisioning, and/or other DeFi primitives
• Experience researching and developing new DeFi products and primitives
• Understanding of tokenomics and financial models
• Understanding of next generation blockchains and L2 solutions.
• Experience working with cross chain/rollup protocol deployment.
• Deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem.
