Rust or Blockchain Engineer (Remote)

Coral Reef is looking for Rust or Blockchain Engineers. (Globally Remote)

We are an international team who is building an open NFT (Non-fungible token) marketplace on Solana!

Our project recently won 1st place in the NFT category at the official Solana Hackathon.

Our goal is to build the leading marketplace to mint, buy and sell JPGs and other digital goods by delivering the best User Experience in the industry and empower artists and creators to explore the new frontier that is NFTs.

We are looking for talented Rust or Blockchain Engineers to join our growing team of blockchain enthusiasts.

You will work directly with engineering leadership and be responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining smart contracts on the Solana blockchain
• Follow technical and product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Participate in constructive, collaborative code reviews to ensure the team is aligned and solving problems in concert.
• Assist in planning upcoming marketplace features
• Be an active part in solving some of the foundational problems in the NFT marketplace space
• Study blockchain trends and implement features to help our users
• Stay up to date on industry best practices

Requirements:

• Experience in Rust or smart contract development on other blockchains (e.g. Solidity).
• Experience shipping and iterating in high quality code in close collaboration with design and product partners.
• Familiarity with code quality coverage analysis, performance monitoring, security, auth, etc.,
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS), preferably in a SaaS environment
• Familiarity with modern development pipelines, tools, and CI/CD practices in an agile environment
• A passion for the cryptocurrency and NFT space. Bonus if you are active in the Solana community.
• An understanding of blockchain(s) or blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs
• Fluent English speaker with ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders, and to foster positive engineering cultures
• Ability to portray friendly professionalism
• 3+ years of experience building secure infrastructure.
