GRC/Incident Response Manager

At cLabs, the team working on the open source platform Celo, our mission is to build a financial system that creates the conditions for prosperity for all.

Celo aims to remove the barriers for large-scale adoption of cryptocurrencies as means-of-payment. Using a novel address-based encryption algorithm, the Celo protocol makes sending money as easy as sending a text. Additionally, Celo uses stable-value tokens pegged to fiat currencies, like the US Dollar, to minimize volatility. Celo is an open protocol enabling many to participate in the system, even with a budget Android smartphone.

cLabs is seeking a GRC & Incident Response Manager to join our Security team. As a Security partner you will be a core part of security enforcing and design at cLabs.

You Will:

  • Design and lead the Incident Response Initiative at cLabs
  • Implement a Risk Management program
  • Develop and maintain a formal Information Security Policy at cLabs
  • Oversee the development of incident response runbooks of other teams
  • Be part of cLabs Blue team and help with Incident Management and Response

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in security operations, GRC, or incident response
  • Ability to manage highly stressful situations during incidents
  • Effective skills to communicate risk assessments and control testing to different stakeholders including technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Experience with at least 3 of the following: risk lifecycle, information security policy creation, incident response, forensics or working with regulatory bodies
  • You have led investigations by following a defined process and are comfortable with incident response
  • You have experience working in the blockchain space or knowledge of the pain points faced by blockchain companies
  • You have renowned certifications, education, or experience proving your ability in the field of information security
  • You have Experience working in a security team or knowledge of security concepts such as ISO 27000, Secure SDLC, DevOps, and DevSecOps
