Senior Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking to hire a seasoned software engineer with experience building scalable, highly performant and secure applications. Ideally with experience in Golang & knowledge of Blockchain, specifically EVM based chains. However any Blockchain experience is welcomed.

We are looking for active crypto developers and it is expected that you have exposure and knowledge of Defi protocols as well as verifiable experience interacting with smart contracts.

As well as engineering solutions, new ideas are always welcomed and so conceptualising & designing new products is encouraged.

We are a Hong Kong based company with affiliations with the finance market. Our exchange platform is designed for both retail customers and professional traders. Responsibilities:

• Develop prototypes for new ideas proposed by you and the team
• You are the owner of your projects. We are open-minded to new technologies and you can try out different things here
• Identify issues and implement solutions to complex problems in large-scale backend infrastructure and mobile platforms
• Management of documentation of all code and functionalities implemented
• Work closely with DevOps operations to improve tech stack for long-term engineering initiatives
• Experienced with various technologies, a fast learner and have a “get things done” mentality
• Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities
• Propose and design system architecture
• Participate in design & code review

Required skills

• More than 5+ years of professional software development
• Knowledge of server-side programming languages (e.g. Golang, Rust)
• Hands-on experience with Golang and Ruby
• Experience with Golang frameworks: Gin, etc.
• Experience with Web3, Ethereum development
• Microservice architecture
• Understanding of Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with Amazon Services
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm - development is not required but need to understand it
• Experience with Postman, Swagger
