Blockchain Developer - Solana Smart Contracts

BW Technologies UAB is a registered Lithuanian company that manages a crypto-mining firm. We also run a node on Solana using our datacenter.

We are now looking to create an application for travel insurance using Solana’s smart contract technology.

Responsibilities

• Create smart contract for each instance a policy is created on our mobile application or website.
• Integrate our script that calculates the exact payment fee based on several variables.
• Help with the building of the application whenever expertise is necessary.

Project Idea:

The application will be offering travel insurance for individuals using blockchain technology. Rather than going through a complicated process of contacting airlines or third-party ticket issuers for refunds, our application will pay a full refund to the user as soon as the flight is cancelled. There is no verification process necessary. Each insurance policy will be associated with a small fee; upon payment the smart contract is created. The user will simply input a flight number and a dollar-value of their ticket. Our algorithm will offer a fee payment (for instance 3$) which can be paid on the application.
