About Bolero Music

• We have pioneered the emergence of artist tokenization and we are leading the Music Industry into this new space.
• We launched our web-app V1 in April 2021. We’ve closed our Seed round in early July 2021.
• We are backed and advised by a tier 1 French-American VC fund and some of the top crypto entrepreneurs.
• We’re set to release our new version (on-chain & non-custodial) with established artists.

Role

We’re seeking a full-time Lead Developer specialised in JS and who has made their way in web3.

You will be joining a passionate team that values cutting edge features, automated testing and collaboration.

In this role, you will discover, own, and execute Bolero Music’s next blockchain opportunities for a 10x growth.

You will be working alongside the founders to take on this world-changing opportunity. We will work closely together to make sure this will be the best role of your career.

Mission

• Update and maintain our smart contracts on Ethereum & L2 chains.
• Drive high-level decisions about Bolero Music architecture, incentive structures, and features.
• Prepare and lead our migration phase from Ruby on Rails API to Node.js / Express API.
• Lead features development from conception to deployment with the ability to improve our version shipments processes.
• Lead application code optimisations to maximise our architecture versatility regarding future releases.
• Commit time to research and development to contribute directly to our roadmap and push Bolero Music at the forefront of technology.

What we are excited about

• You have a solid experience in software engineering and web application development.
• Strong knowledge and practical skills in Javascript / NodeJS / Express. Efficiency with Rest API, React, Redux, PostgreSQL, Heroku, AWS, Github and others.
• You have a first demonstrable experience in web3 and smart contracts development.
• Familiar with WEB3.JS, ETHERS.JS, paired with React/Redux.
• Previous experience in a consumer-app start-up or in BtoC is a plus.
• Excellent communicator - You know how to work in teams, give and receive feedback, identify bottlenecks.
• Fluent in English - Fluency is a must, native is a big plus.
• Bonus - Music is an important part of your life.

Package

Compensation and equity grants are competitive and commensurate with experience. This is a full-time role that includes medical insurance, paid time off, transport allowance and work from home dispositions.

Based in Paris, France. Remote-work can be discussed.
