What you will do

As the Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing backend components for blockchain applications, including high-security components and IT infrastructure. You will create and maintain a public API according to best practices. You will assess whether everyday tasks can be automated or require human input. You will act as a consultant for workflow and project management issues. You will analyze internal processes, suggest improvements, and train our developers in proper tool usage and best coding practices to develop our software and products according to our corporate vision. Additional job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and enhancing our developer services and IT infrastructure
• API integration
• Maintaining or developing CI/CD pipelines
• Developing backend components (e.g., key management, policy management, data storage, etc.)
• Developing microservice and blockchain infrastructures
• Developing and auditing solidity contracts

What you will need to succeed

You must have profound knowledge and experience in blockchain technology, software engineering, and decentralized software architecture and a passion for building and continuously improving what seeks to be the best crypto custody solution in the market. You have experience working with digital-currency custody, blockchain, or cryptography. You can work with numerous cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growing company. You have a working knowledge of Docker, multi-sig wallets, NFTs, and other standard digital wallets and security paradigms. You have a proven track record of delivering and owning web-scale pipelines systems in production. You love the blockchain technology, want to bring it to the masses, and enjoy delving into novel emerging technologies like MPC (Multi-party Computation).

A plus is technical knowledge of elliptic-curve cryptography, multiparty party computation and privacy-enhancing technologies, layer2-technologies, compilers, and virtual machines. Another advantage is experience with financial institutes in a regulated environment.

Education/Experience

You have an MSc/MA in Computer Science or a related field or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience. A minimum of three years with software development engineering experience and at least two years experience with blockchain development.
