Head of Engineering

We are looking for someone with some serious skill and experience to lead our tech team and own the entire technology piece alongside a strong product, design and marketing team.

Our ideal candidate would need to tick a significant majority of boxes mentioned below:

• extremely familiar with Geth and EVM.
• extremely familiar with popular consensus mechanisms.
• built and deployed large scale platforms/products.
• worked on and delivered massively distributed systems.
• extremely familiar with popular cloud infra.
• extremely familiar with setting up dev ops for such large scale systems.
• have knowledge of public key cryptography and systems security.
• have implemented best practices that help teams move seamlessly through idea-specification-development-testing-release.
• have worked specifically on Go and also with Rust/JS/NodeJS stacks
• feel unit testing, code reviews and documentation are key developer responsibilities.
• are not looking to delegate writing code.
• like working in small teams but are comfortable when they get bigger.
• can help grow the team.
• are comfortable with the uncertainties that come with working in a startup.
• plays well with others.
• extremely self motivated and can motivate others around you.

It is extremely important to note that:

• You need to believe that privacy is a fundamental right for everybody
• This is not a purely managerial role
• We are looking for someone who can oversee, review and contribute to the technology roadmap on an everyday basis
