Blockchain Infrastructure Manager

ApeSwap is seeking an experienced Blockchain Infrastructure Manager to serve as a major contributor to our fast-paced, innovative development team. As a burgeoning DAO, ApeSwap is a unique organization, looking for unique individuals who want to impact the world by building the future of finance.

Preferred Qualifications (Not all Mandatory)

• SysOp / NetOp experience
• High performance & high availability experience
• Experience managing blockchains & nodes
• Postgresql or other DBA experience

Expected Aptitude Test (1+ month, paid)

Before hiring this position full time, ApeSwap would like to go through a trial phase to initially assess the candidate’s aptitude. This trial phase consists of the following objectives:

• Setup a regular graph testnet stack (including monitoring)
• Setup a Binance Smart Chain full node and keep it in sync
• Sideload an off chain subgraph

Work Focus Areas

• Firehose technology & all the intricacies that come with it
• Expand monitoring to the new areas / chains & improve metrics (Grafana)
• Switch database backups to incremental system & greater restore flexibility (Postgres Barman)
• Write install scripts for all software used and custom helper scripts (bash)

Other responsibilities

• Maintenance, improvement & expansion of our archive RPC’s and indexing infrastructure.
• Ongoing patching and securing of our fleet of bare metal servers, their respective stacks & their interconnects (ubuntu LTS, iptables).
