About the role:

We’re hiring a highly-technical onchain generalist to help lead the company’s long term DeFi / onchain strategy as we near the release of our upcoming onchain AI agent products. You can think of this role as a highly technical product owner; contributing to hands-on development as well as the greater strategy.

The ideal candidate is an onchain generalist that has technical hands-on experience with dapps at the blockchain level while being a DeFi power user themselves.

You’ll enjoy strong autonomy & wear various hats that include:

• Leading research efforts on technical DeFi initiatives within the company
• Keeping a pulse on the latest DeFi trends to ensure our products stay ahead of the curve
• Contributing to product roadmap & strategy for our onchain products
• Working alongside our engineering team to assist with onchain technical decisions
• This role is great for those with a strong technical onchain background that get easily bored in specialized roles, as you’ll be the glue between our product, research, & engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Strong technical experience in DeFi research or leading DeFi products
• Experience using smart contract libraries such as viem or web3.js
• Strong analytical & data-focused background, including but not bound to: SQL, Dune, Python, & similar
• Good SecOps; understanding of best security practices for smart contracts & onchain dapps
• Terminally online; web3 native who keeps up with the latest onchain advancements
• Strong writer that can convert DeFi research in to digestible public-facing content
• General interest / experience with AI agents or applied AI & ML

Not required, but a strong bonus:

• Leadership experience at a research firm, venture/trading firm, or high growth web3 company
• Prior commercial experience as a smart contract dev or security auditor
