Backend Developer

Aave is an open source and non-custodial protocol enabling the creation of liquidity markets. Users can earn interest on deposits and borrow assets. We are searching for an experienced backend developer to join our team of professionals to build next generation of financial products.

Requirements

• An academic degree (BSc or MSC) in computer science or related field.
• Extensive professional experience without degree also accepted.
• Experience in any industry-standard data analysis programming language.
• Good knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building API data endpoints.
• Hands-on experience on building client applications and data visualization tools/dashboards.
• Experience with statistical modeling and their implementation.

Bonus

• Good understanding of blockchain technology, specifically Ethereum applications.
• Practical experience with Dockerized environments.
• Experience with financial systems and economical data analysis.
• Experience in Javascript/Typescript.
• Academic degree in Mathematics or Economics.
• Practical experience with Dockerized environments.
