About Us

Thali is an innovative synthetic trading protocol aimed at bringing a gamified experience to DeFi users on Polygon and Ethereum. The DAO has the support from IndiDAO, an ecosystem support DAO founded by key members of Polygon, Wazir X and other leading projects in the Indian crypto industry. Thali’s synths offer exposure to multiple asset classes and exotic data feeds within DeFi as well as exciting gamification mechanisms with NFTs, leaderboards and more.

The role

The mission for the UI / UX magician is to lead the creation of the protocol’s UI and UX with a keen eye on gamification. You’ll have the help of our community, our core team and you’ll have the ability to engage in external support as well. Synthetic trading platforms are usually difficult for users and not necessarily offer a fun and rewarding experience. We want to change that and you’ll be a key contributor to the Thali DAO.

About you

• A passion for DeFi and decentralization. A willingness to participate in the DAO’s community activities and governance processes.
• Capacity to perform autonomously and bringing a “we” mentality to the team and the overall tech strategy for the DAO.
• Thorough understanding of UI / UX design best practices with specific knowledge and experience of DeFi UI design choices.
• Passion to bring unique UX to life, with understanding of gamification techniques and best practices within GameFi.
• Future-proof oriented thinking when it comes to development of your work.

Basic Requirements

• Overall proven experience in bringing top-notch UI/UI solutions in the form of web and mobile applications. Ideally, +5 years of experience and above.
• Experience with user testing and agile methodologies for development with the industry’s leading tools (Figma etc.).
• Understanding of crypto and DeFi, it’s design challenges and characteristics.
• Be present in our community (bug reports, questions from Discord etc.)
• Bonus: Interest in being part of DAO’s and leading community-led projects.

Compensation Details

• We’re looking for full-time roles to join as core team members of the DAO. You can be remote anywhere in the world, we’d prefer an overlap with EU or IST time zones.
• Compensation is a package of USDC and the DAO’s native token as incentives. The desired range is from $40K to $70K USDC as base compensation, depending on experience and actual role.
• We value skin in the game and alignment with the project’s mission, as such, the incentives in the native token represent a long-term opportunity for all stakeholders including the core team members.
