UX/UI Designer

We are a startup based in Neuchatel and London, building the next generation of privacy infrastructure for the Internet. Our core technology is a decentralised and incentivised mixnet that allows integration with third party applications and services to protect users’ data and ensure their privacy at the network level.

Nym is looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer to grow with us and make key contributions throughout this journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery initiatives and identify insights through contextual research and market analysis to uncover our user behaviors, pain points, trends and needs
• Communicate these insights, and develop artefacts such as product concepts, personas, customer journeys, concepts, system maps and scenarios
• Work with product and development teams to ensure the visions and concepts are aligned with the broader business goals, and are set to deliver strategic value, and contribute to the business case development
• Building intuitive end user applications from different areas of Nym’s Technology, including wallets and browsers
• Working in a collaborative environment to ensure design documents are current and complete

What you bring to the team:

• A passion for privacy and de-centralisation
• Excellent at using prototyping software tools, such as Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud
• Basic knowledge of coding, even if you’re not doing it yourself, HTML, Javascript and CSS etc
• At least 2 years’ experience designing within the Crypto/Blockchain/Privacy space
• A total of 5 years working as a UX/UI Designer with a portfolio to match
