Graphic Designer

We are seeking a Graphic Designer with proven business experience to join Monax Labs’ team supporting our NFT platforms, Aspen and Cedar. You will work closely with the VP of Design on design projects that impact the whole company.

Who is Monax Labs? We are a web3 infrastructure studio. Our goal is to make NFT transactions safe, secure, and legal.

Aspen is an NFT platform where anyone can have fun growing their portfolio. Users will be gamers, high volume traders, institutions that make markets, and creators of NFTs. Cedar is an NFT publishing platform that easily creates and distributes multimedia NFTs.

You’ll create a wide range of assets and provide design support for the whole company. You’ll have an instinct and skill for creating elegant and cool designs that can excite any of our target audiences.

What you will be doing:

• Creating impactful social media assets for Twitter, LinkedIn and Discord (Animated and static)
• Provide company wide design support
• Create pitch decks, documents, marketing collateral, and quality layouts for web and print
• Conceptualise, build and deliver high quality and elegant variants of our existing assets
• Web design support for landing pages and company websites
• Support our VP of Design to ensure brand consistency across all channels
• Own the project lifecycle from inception through ideation, and to delivery
• Use design references and mood boards to communicate ideas to stakeholders
• Identify and select the best design output required prior to build
• Provide a timely turnaround on projects

You’ll have a high level of autonomy, and you’ll be a key contributor in developing and refining the design output for Monax Labs.

So, in summary, who do we need? Someone who has:

• A degree in an design discipline or equivalent industry experience
• At least 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• An excellent eye for detail, colours, and typography
• A solid understanding of the specifications required for social media and web platforms
• Able to produce excellent results using Indesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Figma
• Experience in layout design, an understanding of content hierarchy, print design, typesetting skills and artworking
• A strong work ethic and the ability to self direct and prioritise your workload
• Ability to respond positively to feedback and changing company priorities
• An ability to create, develop and maintain templates, design systems and brand guidelines
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience working in a fast-moving and ever-evolving environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Nice to have:

• Experience in NFT or Cryptocurrency technologies or communities, this does not have to be in a professional capacity
• Experience with a venture-funded, high-growth technology startup
• 2 years agency experience in a role that includes both creative and production a bonus
• CMS, Wordpress, HTML, CSS or Javascript experience
