Senior User Interface Designer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join MetaMundo, a design-driven team, where you’ll help define and shape the MetaMundo platform. This is a key role for the company and you’ll be part of a talented, collaborative team that values trust, creativity, openness and ownership.

You’ll be:

• Working on the forefront of web3 and the metaverse, where there are opportunities to invent entirely new design patterns and experiences for how people explore and collect 3D assets (such as avatars, wearables, vehicles, art galleries, homes, and much more).
• Helping showcase the unique 3D objects in an immersive, interactive and dynamic way
• Enabling 3D creators to tell their stories in unique and immersive ways
• Working directly with the product team, Creative Director and the company’s founders to develop and evolve the MetaMundo platform

We’re a fully remote team, with office space at the New Base in Amsterdam if you’re based in the Netherlands.

What you’ll do:

• Perform user research, including organizing and holding user interviews. Use feedback and data to inform design strategy
• Take broad concepts and turn them into simple, useful products and features—You’ll own design initiatives from concept through launch, mapping the initial UX & polishing the final UI
• Pitch your own ideas, contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
• Partner with engineers to enable them as they implement your ideas
• Facilitate design workshops to create alignment between teammates around your projects
• Give and solicit feedback from other team members in order to continually raise our bar for design quality
• Help build, maintain, and evolve our design system
