Product Designer

Flipside Crypto empowers the best analytic minds in crypto and rewards them for creating and sharing data-driven insights on the projects they care about most. As our community continues to grow and expand, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated designer to help us build within the ever evolving world of web3, blockchain, and decentralized finance.

This is a role for a passionate collaborator who sits at the cross-section of product thinking, interaction design, visual design, and customer experience. A Flipside Designer is a system-oriented thinker and excellent at prioritization (speed vs sweating the details). You’ll focus on how to influence user behavior to drive business outcomes while elevating the overall customer experience. As a Product Designer at Flipside, you’ll be deep in solving cutting edge human computer interface problems, developing new mental models that fuel the crypto analytics community, and defining the design culture of a small but growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the entire team to design, research and ship new and improved products that increase clarity and user agency for the crypto analytics community.
• Wrangle difficult problems in emerging technology, help invent new mental models, and design cutting edge interactions.
• Help us create a unified design language that increases engineering velocity and builds user trust across multiple facets of our product.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of product design experience including research, prototyping and implementation of user-facing applications.
• Prior experience working with component libraries or design systems.
• A desire to design within the context of web3/blockchain/decentralized finance.
• Experience designing with Figma and other modern design tools.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with the web3/Ethereum (wallets, tokens, transactions etc.)
• High fidelity prototyping experience
• HTML and CSS experience
