Senior Product Designer

FIAT DAO is the digital cooperative stewarding development of the FIAT protocol. FIAT, short for Fixed Income Asset Token, allows users to access leverage against their fixed income positions across DeFi.

We are looking for a senior UX designer to spearhead a second iteration of the primary FIAT DAO website and protocol interface. You will be asked to consider its current deficiencies; to assess the comparative pros and cons of other protocols’ interfaces; to understand what new demands future development of the FIAT protocol will put on users; and to collaborate with our frontend development team and the wider community in the delivery of that vision. You will be playing a key role in setting the tone for what the FIAT app comes to look like and making it accessible to a wide array of users.

You will be asked to perform the following responsibilities:

• Design sketches and wireframes
• Operate prototyping
• Inform the FIAT DAO brand and design guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with Frontend Engineering, UI/UX
• Present regular updates (i.e., annotated change logs) to the FIAT DAO community

We will be on the look for the following qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in Web3 product design, DeFi preferred
• Proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Figma)
• Comfortable interfacing with other DAO teams (e.g., frontend development)
• English fluency
