• Our stack is progressive and open-source and includes Go, Rust, and TypeScript.
• We spearhead ecosystem projects like Lodestar, Web3.js, Forest, Gossamer and Ethermint.
• We are global, remote-friendly, and open to contractors (who can commit to a minimum of 35 hours a week). For those local to Toronto, our casual, open-concept office in Chinatown has meeting rooms, lounge areas, and space to pull up a chair.

Who we need

We are looking for a passionate visual designer to deliver intriguing and informative content for digital marketing and communications, and grow the visual identities of each project across touch-points.

Who you are

You are a hardworking team player who’s committed to continuous learning. The prospect of exciting and educating people on a diverse array of issues motivates you. You may be an illustrator, graphic designer, motion designer seeking to produce quality work for a greater purpose. You have solid examples of your work.

Responsibilities

• Differentiate ChainSafe through visual design and/or illustration
• Create assets and graphics to accompany blog posts, social media posts, and websites
• Design audits and documents
• Actively advise on design processes

Requirements

• 1-2 years proven work experience with graphic design/visual design
• Portfolio (PDF or link)
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and continuous learning
• Identity work is a plus
• Motion, 3D and illustration skills are a huge plus
