Senior Designer

Overview

The full time Senior Designer role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and is eligible for all employee benefits. Our team is fully remote, though Atlanta, GA is the preferred location for this candidate.

Brightvine is looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our design team and lead projects end to end - starting from conceptualization to completion. The designer will produce and oversee Brightvine’s brand guidelines, ensuring creative excellence to inspire our customers and improve on creative storytelling on how we present our product. A strong candidate for this role thrives in ambiguity and creates clarity through appropriate design artifacts such as wireframes, flowcharts, design specifications, and demos.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design

• Build and expand on the brand’s visual identity and design language and ensure consistency company wide
• Oversee and articulate all design projects across multiple formats including: web, video, print, email, display ads, presentations, and events
• Foster inspiration and creative ideas that amplify marketing programs to support product and program launches
• A passion for the latest design trends, usability practices and technologies to continue to push the brand forward visually

Collaborate

• Partner with other teams to develop creative briefs and lead creative reviews that translate goals to creative execution
• Guide understanding on our messaging through our visual and verbal representation across the company
• Lead presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables
• Influence ideas thoughtfully to our partners, both verbally and visually through concept boards

Team Engagement

• Mentor and motivate mid-level designers in art direction, technical skills, design principles and copy writing.
• Become involved with company-wide meetings and events

Must Haves

• A Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communication Arts, Information Design, or equivalent education or experience
• 6+ years of experience in relevant design discipline in Fintech, Web3 and/or consumer products both in-house and agency.
• Work samples emphasizing interaction and graphic design skills (portfolio review required)
• Proficiency designing in industry-standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud as well as the Microsoft Office suite

Nice to Haves

• Creative direction experience
• UI/UX, app and product design experience
• Video/animation, illustration, motion graphics content development experience.
• Proficiency in After effects, Cinema 4d, Blender or other 3d tools
• Experience with both building and leading a design team.
