About the role:

We’re hiring a lead design engineer with a proven track record of designing & building software with a high level of polish. This role is a hybrid of design + frontend development, and requires a strong ability of being able to design in code.

You will play a major role in all things design at Ambush.

This will be an exciting role for anyone who wants to own the design & product experience from 0 to 1, as you will be one of the key drivers behind designing + building our software & brand.

We deeply care about building a world-class design experience, so you will be given creative space and autonomy as our trusted design lead.

This role may be a good fit for you if:

• You enjoy high ownership of key design decisions across product & brand
• You prefer working on smaller teams with high autonomy & less predictability
• You are a design generalist & enjoy always working on new ideas

This role might not be a good fit for you if:

• You like collaborating with a large team of designers & frontend engineers
• You like working on established & predictable roadmaps / product specs

Requirements:

• Crypto-native; you must deeply understand the pain points of web3 & onchain users
• Senior level experience with UX/UI design & UX/UI component animations / motion
• Senior level frontend development skills, fully comfortable as a frontend engineer
• Prior experience with building performant and high availability applications
• Our tech stack: Next.js (App Router), Typescript, Tailwind, Framer Motion, AWS, viem
• Bonus but not required: prior experience building or working in AI
