About IDEX

IDEX recently announced IDEX v3, the first Hybrid Liquidity DEX, combining a high-performance order book with Automated Market Making (AMM). The platform blends the best of centralized and decentralized exchanges, with the performance and features of an order book and the security and liquidity of an AMM. IDEX allows traders to get the best spreads, avoid failed transactions, and easily provide liquidity, all with the power of real limit and stop-loss orders. IDEX v3 is scheduled to launch on Dec 1st, 2021.

Job Description

Decentralized Exchanges are geared towards users who are more knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and have a deep understanding of how they work. With that in mind, IDEX has had support staff available 24/7 to help bridge the gap for novice users and onboard them with the least amount of friction possible. Support staff use their knowledge of IDEX and blockchain networks to help users with issues they encounter when using IDEX.

The ideal candidate has a background in blockchain/dapps, enjoys working with customers directly, and has strong customer support skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers in need of support help through the IDEX application
  • Monitor the IDEX Discord and Telegram for support inquiries and direct users to reach out via the IDEX website
  • Answer general questions from users about IDEX. Support staff are trained on the product and equipped with assets such as blog posts to help answer questions
  • Provide the support team manager with feedback about the shift such as common issues that users were encountering, general questions from users, etc
  • Participate in non-support related items, time permitting, such as testing new releases for bugs, collecting information on various topics, etc
  • Participate in the IDEX Discord and Telegram rooms, time permitting, to help encourage engagement from users. This could be talking about news in the cryptocurrency space, sharing interesting articles, etc

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and DeFi
  • Thorough knowledge around the crypto social ecosystem
  • Patience and eagerness to help customers in need
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company
