Technical Community Lead

Fuel is building the most scalable optimistic rollup in the world. We are in search of an engineer with first-hand experience writing smart contracts, who possesses a talent for communication and community building.

This is a unique hybrid role; we strongly believe that developers are the most qualified to communicate the merits of our system to the broader ecosystem.

The ideal candidate can quickly learn and understand what makes our technology special, reach out to projects, and assist developers building on Fuel.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fuel’s public communication channels.
• Create blog posts, tweets, videos and other media.
• Articulate the nuance behind our design choices and explain the benefits of Fuel to the wider crypto community.
• Help bootstrap and manage our developer program.
• Understand the needs of developers and keep a close feedback loop with the Fuel engineering team to track and solve issues.
• Write clear and easy to understand developer documentation.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the Fuel protocol and its development trajectory.
• Keep track of the latest trends in the crypto space.

Skills

• 1+ years as a software engineer.
• 1+ years working with Solidity.
• A proven ability to turn complex information into easy to understand content (verbal and written).
• Experience building and managing a digital community.
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Native level proficiency in written and oral English.
• Prior experience working remotely in a globally distributed team.
